At Chuan Studio, we provide somatic (mind-body) education using a movement and directed attention approach in a conducive environment to achieve optimal physical and mental well-being for every client, according to your needs and goals.

But YOU design your growth process.

Our private 1-on-1 and semi-private 1-on-2 sessions are designed for personalized and self-directed learning using the following movement methods.

PILATES

Strengthen both the mind and body with the guidance of our experienced instructors.

Our range of Pilates exercises can be modified, catering to individual needs and conditions. It has been widely used by medical professionals as a rehabilitative tool for patients with specific conditions such as herniated disc, osteoporosis, pre/post spinal, shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle surgeries.

Engaging relevant muscles in movements improves both the neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems. While postural movements are enhanced, mental capacity increases too!

GYROTONIC®

Using the GYROTONIC® Pulley Tower equipment, our instructors will guide your movement in the desired directions. Find balance, move freely, and increase your mobility and coordination. Popularly known as “Yoga for Dancers”, this method allows the body to flow through movements seamlessly using circular and fluid movements.

Skillfulness attained without struggle.

Strength, balance, efficiency and flexibility are created.

GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® are registered trademarks of Gyrotonic Sales Corp and are used with their permission.

THE Feldenkrais METHOD®

The Feldenkrais Method® is a form of mind-body integrated exercise therapy that uses gentle movement and directed attention to increase your ease and range of motion, improve your flexibility and coordination, and rediscover your innate capacity for graceful, efficient movement.

These improvements, in turn, will often enhance functioning in other areas of your life.

Chuan Studio offers both parallel forms of The Feldenkrais Method®:

Functional Integration® and Awareness Through Movement® (ATM).
